Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Description

• Work as part of a Hybrid Endovascular team serving neuro-endovascular, neurosurgical, structural heart, and peripheral vascular patients.
• Significant focus on stroke patients at a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
• Assist physicians with complex vascular interventional procedures.
• Operate radiologic equipment proficiently while adhering to professional standards.
• Function effectively as a team member.

Schedule

• Typically 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 6:30 PM).
• Normally 5x8s available but 4x10s preferred.
• No Wednesdays (usually a call day).
• Call schedule: 10 calls per month.

  • Weekend call is 24 hours.
  • Weeknight call is overnight until 7 AM.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Indiana.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year.

Experience

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Interventional Radiology).

Additional Requirements

• Completion of study guides for medication administration, pediatric medication, EKG challenge, and other unit-specific materials prior to start.
• Annual renewal of required certifications and competencies.
