Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel/Contract

Location

Saint Louis, Missouri

Position Details

Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 6 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:00 - 06:30)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
On-call: Not required
Floating: No floating within or to sister facilities
Local candidates within 75-mile radius not accepted

30 Bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
10 Bed Cardiac ICU
Emergency Room (not a trauma center)
Night shift team includes 5-7 therapists
Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care
Total Staffed Beds: 442
Medication system: Pyxis
Charting system: Epic

Required Experience and Skills

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in Missouri
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Adult critical care experience
Experience using nebulizers (cold/handheld/trach collar)
