NICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position

Location: Wynnewood, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Level III NICU caring for babies 22+ weeks gestation
• No surgeries or ECMO cases
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend
• Floating may be required to a nearby campus
• Guaranteed hours
• First-time travel nurses are welcome

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nursing experience, with NICU experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

• Acute care teaching hospital environment with approximately 370 staffed beds
• Electronic charting system: Epic
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• No on-call requirement
• Return staff must provide previous location and dates worked if applicable

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Valid government-issued photo ID and driver’s license without restrictions
• Education verification (diploma, degree, or transcripts)
• Current license primary source verification prior to assignment start
• Required facility-specific modules and confidentiality agreement must be completed before start
• Respirator clearance and annual safety training required
• Employment application and skills checklist required

This position is ideal for NICU RNs with at least 2 years of experience seeking a night shift travel assignment in a Level III NICU setting.
