Registered Nurse - Rehab (Travel/Contract)

Location: Lewisburg, Pennsylvania
Shift: Nights, 3 shifts every other week (3x12-hour shifts, 18:45–7:15)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work primarily on a night shift schedule with 3 twelve-hour shifts every other week.
May care for COVID-19 patients.
Tobacco and fragrance-free facility environment.
No call requirements.
Weekend shifts every other week.
Floating as needed.
Holiday shifts as needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Pennsylvania.
Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience, with rehabilitation experience within the last year.
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Experience with Epic electronic health record system.

Required Documentation & Compliance

Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
I-9 attestation and E-Verify compliance.
Background checks including:
- 7-year criminal background check (must be current within 30 days of start).
- Pennsylvania State Police PATCH search (must be finalized prior to start).
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start.
- PA FBI fingerprinting required within 1 year of start; candidate may start with results pending but must have results on file within 45 days or will be removed from assignment.
Education verification of highest degree/diploma/transcripts.

Required Certifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA or ARC provider accepted.
Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing (must be completed within 48 hours of signed contract).
Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (pass/fail exam required within 72 hours of contract signing).
Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, NIH Stroke Certification may be required depending on unit assignment.

Health & Immunization Requirements

Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT.
Fit mask test required 3 business days prior to start for patient-facing roles; PAPR training if fit test failed.
Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years of start.
Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days of start; chest X-ray required if positive TB test.
Vaccination or positive titer proof required for:
- Rubeola (Measles) – 2 doses or positive titer.
- Mumps – 2 doses or positive titer.
- Rubella – 2 doses or positive titer.
- Hepatitis B – positive titer or full vaccine series (3 doses) plus declination form if applicable.
- Varicella – 2 doses or positive titer.
Seasonal flu vaccine or valid medical/religious exemption required during flu season.
COVID-19 vaccine, medical/religious exemption, or declination accepted.
Negative 9-panel drug test within 1 year of start (specific to agency requirements).
Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year of start, renewed annually.

Facility Specific Requirements

Passport-style professional photo for badge.
Completion and signing of facility-specific documents including:
- Medical Statement Non-Employee Ability to Work form.
