Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech (Travel/Contract)
Location: Pocatello, Idaho
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Work Hours: 40 hours per week
Travel Experience Required: No
Job Description
- Support endovascular and stroke cases in Interventional Radiology.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist within the last year.
- Certifications required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- ARRT R (Radiography)
- ARRT VI (Vascular Interventional Radiography)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- CCI RCIS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
- Valid state license for Interventional Radiology Tech.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License or State ID.
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- I-9 verification required.
- E-Verify required for direct hires.
- 7-year background check within 1 year of start, updated annually, including SS trace, county searches, nationwide sex offender check, and education verification.
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required upon hire.
- Education verification required; transcript or diploma may be accepted temporarily if verification is delayed.
- Physical exam within 12 months of start.
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start.
- Fit test for approved masks within 1 year of start, renewed annually.
- Immunization and health document requirements:
- Adult Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years.
- Negative TB test (2-step PPD, QGOLD, or TSPOT) within 1 year.
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required.
- Hepatitis B: Positive titer, series, or declination accepted.
- Varicella: Positive titer, 2 vaccines, or physician-documented history required.
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31). Declinations not accepted.
- Color blindness test required.
- Medication/pharmacology competency exam required as applicable.
- Unit-specific skills checklist required annually.
- Work history verification for the past 7 years.
- Photo for badge required.
Additional Notes
- 100-mile radius rule applies for this assignment.
- Fingerprinting required only for New Mexico placements (not applicable here).
- Orientation includes safety manual acknowledgment and HIPAA compliance.
- References are not required to clear candidates but may be requested internally.
- Employment application and resume must be completed.
