Job Opportunity: CT Technologist
Location: Salem, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 15 weeks
Schedule
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday
- 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (overnight shifts)
Job Description
- Perform diagnostic quality CT procedures in a safe manner following ARRT guidelines.
- Outpatient focus.
- Must have outpatient experience and IV skills.
- Experience with GE and Toshiba/Canon CT machines required.
- EPIC experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Oregon
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and CT
- Experience in an outpatient setting
- Experience with GE Healthcare CT equipment
- Experience with Toshiba and Canon CT equipment
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Criminal background check within 90 days of start (7-year search).
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and ongoing.
- Education verification as applicable.
- Physical exam within one year of start.
- Drug testing (10-panel) within 90 days of start.
- Immunizations and titers including:
- Tdap vaccine or facility-specific declination.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable.
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella antibody titers or vaccinations.
- Hepatitis B titer or vaccination series or declination.
- Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination.
- Fit mask testing to be completed onsite within the first week of starting.
- Badge photo with white background required at least 8 days prior to start.
Additional Requirements
- References: 2 references within the last 2 years showing 1 year in a comparable specialty; at least one supervisory reference within the last 12 months.
- Competency exams as required.
- Completion of required facility-specific training modules prior to or by the date of hire.
Notes
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
- Candidates must be able to work overnight shifts with a focus on outpatient CT imaging.
- Experience with specific CT equipment (GE and Toshiba/Canon) is mandatory.
