Cath Lab RN
Call: 2 weekend call periods (Friday evening to Monday morning) per 13-week contract
Must be open to working weekends. Weekend shifts will likely exceed every other weekend to meet unit need.
Required to work 3 of 5 major holidays
Scheduling preferences can be considered but are not guaranteed. Scheduling requests due to additional employment will not be considered.
May be required to float to another facility in the system

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
Experience with Epic

Onboarding Requirements

Application covering at least the last 5 years of employment
Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years, in a comparable specialty or setting
Education verification confirming a nursing degree
Background check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived or worked in the past 7 years, updated annually
Government-issued photo ID and Social Security card
Passport-style badge photo
Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by an MD, NP, PA, DO, or APRN
TB screening (IGRA, QuantiFERON, or 2 PPDs within 12 months of start) or chest X-ray if TB positive
Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity documentation or declination
Tdap vaccine within 10 years, or declination
Flu vaccine or declination
COVID vaccination record preferred, or declination
9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
Respirator fit test and RespSafety medical clearance, renewed annually
Required annual regulatory training modules (about 3.5 hours)
