Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (Four 10-hour days)
Work Setting: Ambulatory Service Center (Same Day Surgery)
Schedule Details:
- No weekends, holidays, or on-call required
- Flex position with possible floating to main Same Day Surgery unit
- Fast-paced ambulatory surgery environment
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in a Same Day Surgery ambulatory center adjacent to the main hospital campus.
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical setting.
- May be required to float to the main Same Day Surgery department as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Minimum of 3 years of Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience
- PACU experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Valid Driver's License

- This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical environment with flexibility to float to related units.
- No weekend, holiday, or on-call shifts required, supporting work-life balance.
- All onboarding requirements must be completed timely to maintain assignment eligibility.
