Registered Nurse (RN) ICU - Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Job Description

Work on an Acuity Adaptable Unit (not a pure ICU unit)
Every Other Weekend (EOW) and Every Other Holiday (EOH) schedule
Must have 2 years of ICU experience
Experience with EPIC electronic health record system required
May need to float onsite within skill set or to other sites within 40 miles if needed
Prior travel experience is required

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Emergency Pediatric Life Support (EPLS) certification

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Experience

Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Prior travel nursing experience required

Skills

Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Notes

Floating to other units or sites within 40 miles may be required based on staffing needs
All exams and competencies require a minimum passing score of 80% with only two attempts allowed
Some optional documents may be requested post-assignment or for internal use only

This position is ideal for experienced ICU RNs with prior travel experience who are comfortable working in an adaptable acuity environment and meeting comprehensive credentialing and onboarding requirements.
