Role Summary

Provides direct nursing care, implements and monitors patient care plans, communicates patient condition, coordinates disciplines for patient care, carries out physician and nursing orders, and supports discharge planning.

Required Qualifications

• BLS — must be AHA.
• ACLS — must be AHA.
• NIH Certification
• Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.
• License/Certificate Verification — current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start.
• Ascension Specialty Exam — completed prior to first assignment; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score.
• Ascension Color Vision — completed prior to start.
• Ascension Core Competencies — completed within a year of start; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score.
• Ascension EKG Exam — passing score of at least 80% with only two attempts permitted.
