Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Unit: 24-Bed Medical Cardiology Unit (Pingree 4)
Shift: Days, Evenings, Nights rotating every other week (36 hours/week)
Patient Ratio:

• Days: 1:5
• Nights: 1:6

Job Description

• Provide nursing care on a telemetry unit with a strong cardiac focus.
• Must be able to read telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips.
• Care includes post-cardiac catheterization procedures such as PCI, ICD, PPM, Ablation, TR Band, and femoral approach care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience, including telemetry experience within the last year
• Minimum 2 years working as a Traveler RN
• Minimum 2 years experience with a strong cardiac background
• Cardiology experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to perform cardiac drips
