Radiology Tech - Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 07:30 AM – 08:00 PM
Schedule: Monday, Friday, every other weekend
Job Description
- Perform radiologic imaging procedures as a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Technologist).
Required Qualifications
Licensure & Certification
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Massachusetts.
- ARRT certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience.
- Radiology Technologist experience within the last year.
Health & Safety Requirements
- N95 Respirator Fit Test completed within 365 days prior to start date and updated annually (no exemptions allowed).
- Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required if fit test is required.
- Documentation of Tuberculosis (TB) screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test) and updated if break in service exceeds 6 months.
- If positive TB test, documentation of a negative chest x-ray after positive test is required.
- Documentation of MMR immunity (two measles, two mumps, one rubella vaccine series or two MMR vaccines) or proof of immunity via blood test.
- Physician Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date and updated if break in service exceeds 6 months.
- Hepatitis B vaccination strongly preferred (3-dose series or proof of immunity or declination).
- Tdap vaccination preferred within last 10 years.
Background & Professional Checks
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if break exceeds 6 months.
- Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if break exceeds 6 months.
- National Sex Offender Registry check within 30 days prior to start date and updated annually.
- Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start and annually.
- Social Security Number trace as part of background check covering last 7 years.
- Education verification of highest degree achieved.
- Submission of a detailed resume covering past 7 years of work experience (including city and state).
- Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in the skillset.
- Completion of a skills checklist within 1 year of submission.
- Submission coversheet required for initial assignment and new facility submissions.
Additional Notes
- Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start.
- Some locations may allow fit test updates if assignment is extended.
- Name change documentation required if credentials do not match current legal name.
- Confirmation of Assignment/POI form required for all initial assignments and extensions.
