Schedule
- Wednesday: 9:30 AM–8:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:30 AM–8:00 PM
- Friday: 9:30 AM–8:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Contract Length
- 9 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in radiologic technology
- Valid MRI Technologist license in New York
- ARRT (MRI)
- BLS
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
Preferred Experience
- 2 years of MRI experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures
- Position patients and coils for optimal imaging
- Provide patient education before procedures
- Review patient safety questionnaires before MRI scans
- Ensure images are labeled, evaluated for quality, and transmitted in a timely manner
- Complete studies and patient tracking in the radiology information system
- Maintain room and equipment cleanliness and supply readiness
- Report equipment issues or unsafe conditions
- Follow safety and infection control protocols
- Assist physicians and perform related clerical duties as needed
