Schedule

Wednesday: 9:30 AM–8:00 PM
Thursday: 9:30 AM–8:00 PM
Friday: 9:30 AM–8:00 PM
Saturday: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

Contract Length

9 weeks

Required Qualifications

Associate degree in radiologic technology
Valid MRI Technologist license in New York
ARRT (MRI)
BLS
MRI Technologist experience within the last year
1 year of MRI Technologist experience

Preferred Experience

2 years of MRI experience

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI imaging procedures
Position patients and coils for optimal imaging
Provide patient education before procedures
Review patient safety questionnaires before MRI scans
Ensure images are labeled, evaluated for quality, and transmitted in a timely manner
Complete studies and patient tracking in the radiology information system
Maintain room and equipment cleanliness and supply readiness
Report equipment issues or unsafe conditions
Follow safety and infection control protocols
Assist physicians and perform related clerical duties as needed
