Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
No weekends or holidays
8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Job Summary

Deliver nursing care based on current evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards.
Provide safe, individualized patient care in Interventional Radiology.
Perform admission assessments, IV placement, and procedure recovery.
Communicate ongoing patient status and care plans with healthcare team members.
Administer medications using bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically at point-of-care.
Educate patients and families to optimize health, wellness, and disease management.
Participate in multidisciplinary discharge planning to ensure safe patient transitions and continuity of care.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in Telemetry nursing
Experience in Pre-Op nursing
Experience in PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)
Experience with conscious sedation
