24-bed medical/surgical unit specializing in kidney disease care, including kidney transplant patients.
Care provided for patients undergoing living related, cadaveric, or paired exchange kidney transplants.
Nursing staff trained in peritoneal dialysis (manual and cycler methods).
Participation in specialized pharmacologic research studies under nephrologists and transplant surgeons.
On-site outpatient kidney transplant clinic for ongoing episodic care.
Also cares for general medical/surgical patients with common diagnoses.
Remote telemetry monitoring available for 8 beds as needed.
Dynamic environment supporting career growth.

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Ohio.
Knowledge and skills to provide age- and culturally-specific patient care and education.
Effective communication skills with peers and ability to maintain confidentiality.
