Registered Nurse – Med/Surge Telemetry

Location: Meriden, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (36 hours per week)
Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Job Description

Provide nursing care for Med/Tele and Stroke patients in an inpatient acute care setting
Perform stroke patient care and assessments
Utilize Telemetry monitoring and EPIC charting systems

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in an inpatient setting
Stroke patient care and assessment experience
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
At least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience
Experience with EPIC charting system

Additional Information

Night shift with a 36-hour workweek
Rotation includes every other weekend and holidays
