Job Description

Provide nursing care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or training

HCA facility, lots of ED holds, ICU holds in the department. Facility accepts lots of transfers. Patients in hallway beds due to high volume.
