Registered Nurse - Rehab
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: Inpatient Rehab (two 15-bed units, total 30 beds)
- Patient Ratio: 1:5
- Staffing: Patient Care Technicians (PCT) on units when census is 9 or above; no unit secretary
- Equipment: Gait belts, patient alarms, patient lifts
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling: Three 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends
- On Call: None
- Floating Policy: Agency floats first
Job Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, including Med/Surg experience
- At least 1 year of recent rehabilitation nursing experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Additional Information
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrub top with navy blue or black bottoms
- Advanced skills: None required
- Patient experience requirements specific to the hospital unit
