Job Description

Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in:

• ICU and Emergency Room (including pediatric intubation and mechanical ventilation)
• Nursery (Level 1), attending high-risk C-sections and participating in resuscitation teams
• Medical-Surgical floors

Familiarity with the following equipment and systems is required:

• Drager V500 and Hamilton T-1 ventilators
• Neo puff
• EPIC documentation system

Certifications required:

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Position Details

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)

• Weekend Hours: As needed
• Call Requirements: 2 on-call shifts per 8-week schedule
• Float Requirements: May be scheduled at multiple campuses

• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Maine
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Respiratory Therapist experience
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Experience in an Inpatient setting
• Experience with EPIC documentation system
• Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Additional Information

• Must wear scrubs; no plain clothes or clothing with wording allowed
• Expected to complete annual skills fair, learning modules, and a 1-day orientation
• Must follow proper patient identification protocols with 100% compliance
• Scheduled to fill in as needed throughout the contract period, including weekends
