Job Details

• Experience Required: Minimum 2 full years
• Licenses/Certifications:

  • Active California PT license
  • BLS certification required
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Work Setting: Home health care (geographically assigned region)
• Shift: Flexible, majority Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (8-hour days)
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
• Holiday Coverage: Minor holidays; major holidays only if needed
• Uniform: Business attire with white lab coat; no jeans
• Orientation: 1.5 to 2 weeks floor-specific orientation
• EMR System: Cerner
• Team Support: Rehab aides/OTA/PTA usually permanent staff
• Patient Types: Orthopedic, stroke, joint, spinal injuries (PT/OT); speech patients vary
• Additional Requirements:

  • Experience with OASIS (government-mandated form)
  • At least one year experience in PT/OT/Speech therapy
  • Home health experience preferred but not required
