Hospice In-Patient Unit

Location

  • Grand Junction, Colorado

Contract Length

  • 12 weeks

Schedule

  • 3 x 12-hour shifts, 7pm–7am, rotating
  • On-call requirement: 2 shifts per month
  • Orientation: 3 days, 8am–5pm, before starting night shift

Role Overview

  • Hospice nursing role focused on intensive end-of-life care in a home-like inpatient setting
  • Nurses provide compassionate care and support for patients and families
  • Responsibilities include patient assessment, symptom management, teaching patients and caregivers, and supporting physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS
  • 2 years of hospice experience
  • Hospice experience within the last year
