Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Valid RN license in Arizona
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
3 years of educator experience
Educator experience within the last year
Experience in an acute care setting
1 year of experience in clinical education and staff professional development within the past 2 years
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
ED - Emergency Department experience
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience

Role Summary

Assess practice gaps and learning needs, facilitate learning, and evaluate outcomes to support high-quality patient care
Support staff onboarding and orientation, competency management, department-specific education, evidence-based practice, research, mentorship, and student placements
Participate in committees related to practice, risk management, quality improvement, ethics, and infection prevention

Housing

Shared contractor housing only, with limited availability
No pets or family allowed
Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks before start date (at additional cost)

Compliance

Full compliance is required 2 weeks prior to the start date

Additional Notes

COVID and flu exemptions may be accepted after a declination form is submitted
