Overview
- 36 hours per week
- Day/Night rotate
- Every other weekend and every other holiday
- 13-week assignment
- This role is in an ED border environment, where nurses care for patients in hallways as well as bays and move between multiple care areas to obtain patients’ medications and supplies. The pace and turnover are faster than in a traditional inpatient unit.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- 1 year or more of total travel experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- License/certificate verification
- Resume including the past 7 years of work experience
- 2 references within the past 4 years, including at least 1 supervisor or above in the skillset
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
Onboarding Requirements
- Fit test for N95 within 365 days of start date, with annual updates
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation, if fit test is required for the skill
- MGB Medication Exam with a passing score of 80% within 365 days
- MMR documentation or proof of immunity
- Influenza vaccine
- TB test documentation
- Health statement signed by an MD, DO, NP, or PA
- Criminal background check
- Massachusetts CORI
- Education verification
- SSN trace
- National sex offender check
