Job Description
Seeking Pediatric Speech Language Pathologists experienced in:
- Evaluation and treatment of pediatric speech disorders
- Expressive and receptive language delays
- Apraxia, stuttering
- Augmentative and alternative communication devices
- Social communication disorders
- Autism spectrum disorders
SLPs assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across all ages. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and educating patients and families. Work settings may include hospitals, schools, and private practices.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology required
- Certification with the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) required or will obtain upon completion of Clinical Fellowship Year
- Current Idaho State Speech Language Pathologist Licensure required or temporary SLP Provisional Permit
- Minimum 1 year experience preferred with adult and/or pediatric neurologically impaired patient population
Required Credentials & Compliance
- COVID-19 Vaccine required
- MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza (seasonal), Varicella vaccines or accepted declinations
- TB Test (skin test or equivalent) within 12 months
- Annual TB Questionnaire within past 12 months
- Physical/Health Statement within 12 months of assignment start
- Drug Screen (10 panel) within 14 days of start date
- Driver's License or State ID
- Professional license verification and education verification
- Criminal background check and other standard professional clearances within 30 days of start
- Completion of facility-specific competencies, skills checklist, and unit exam
This position requires compliance with all listed health, professional, and facility-specific credentialing and onboarding requirements prior to start.
