Job Details
- Specialty: RN Step Down (PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care)
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Work Setting: Traveler will be placed on a unit with the greatest need (PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry) based on skills.
- Floating: Must be willing to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
- Start Date: Must start by July 12 for elevated rate.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience.
- Travel experience is accepted but not explicitly required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin.
- Minimum 2 years of Stepdown experience, including experience within the last year.
- Med-Surg / Telemetry experience.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
Additional Information
- Must complete and maintain annual updates for required competencies, certifications, and health screenings.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced acute care environment with flexibility to float between units.
- Documentation and credentialing must be submitted and verified according to specified timelines prior to assignment start.
