Overview

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment type: LTA
Shift: 19:00 - 07:30
Contract length: 13 weeks
Role details: RN Step Down (PCU); traveler may be placed on the unit with the greatest need, either PCU or Med/Surg/Tele, based on skills
Float scope: May float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of experience in PCU - Progressive Care Unit
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Med Surg experience
Telemetry experience
Experience with Epic
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIH Certification
Driver's License
Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
License/Certificate Verification within 30 days prior to start
Ascension Skills Checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually
Ascension Specialty Exam completed prior to first assignment; minimum 80% passing score; only 2 attempts allowed
Ascension Core Competencies completed within a year of start; minimum 80% passing score; only 2 attempts allowed
Ascension EKG Exam completed with a passing score of at least 80%; only two attempts permitted
