Temp Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother Baby

Location: Towson, Maryland
Shift: Nights
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per shift: 12

Overview

• Temporary RN role in a Mother Baby unit.
• Responsibilities include clinical monitoring, patient/family/staff education, patient teaching and discharge planning, identifying and addressing unit/staff/patient care problems, and serving as charge RN or precepting new staff if competent.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Maternal - Newborn (2 years of experience)
• Maternal - Newborn experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Scheduling Notes

• Candidates may request off up to 1 week of contracted hours
• Orientations may be scheduled up to 6 weeks out
• RN orientations are held every other week on Tuesday and Wednesday
