Job Summary

The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care using the nursing process and works collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing standards. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, planning and implementing nursing care, making appropriate interventions, evaluating patient responses, and ensuring quality patient care and professional development.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• Minimum 3 years of Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma patients
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Orientation: 8-hour shifts include 8 hours of New Business Orientation (NBO); 12-hour shifts include 12 hours NBO
• Dress Code: Matching scrubs required
• Work environment includes a 288-bed acute care hospital with a busy emergency department and verified trauma center status
• OT/Holiday pay markups apply (1.1x regular rates)
• Full-time employees of the hospital system are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment
