Role
Postpartum RN for a high-volume, high-census unit caring for high-risk obstetric patients.
Assignment Details
- Travel/Contract
- 13 weeks
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
- 36 hours per week
- Traveler choice schedule: 3x12s or 4x12s
- Traveler choice assignment length: 13 or 26 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of experience in high-acuity postpartum care
- Post Partum experience within the last year
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
- Experience working with High Risk patients
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Magnesium administration experience
- Pitocin administration experience
- Postpartum hemorrhage management experience
- Substance withdrawal care experience
- Ability to manage 4 couplets (high patient census management)
- Labor and Delivery experience
- Experience with Epic
- Float to Issaquah Campus Postpartum, Edmonds Campus Postpartum, and Labor and Delivery for 2nd hour of recovery
Preferred Qualifications
- JADA experience

- Large volume, high census postpartum unit
- Diverse patient population
- 4 couplets is standard
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are accepted if they have at least 2 years of experience with high acuity postpartum acuity.
