MS/Tele Travel Nurse

- Night shift, 4x12 hours
- 19:00–7:30
Schedule
- 36 or 48 hours per week
- Must work 2 of 3 holiday bundles
- Weekend requirement: 2 per 4-week schedule, may vary by unit
- RTO over 10 days requires approval
- Block scheduling is not guaranteed
Unit Details
- Medical-surgical telemetry
- Ratios: 1:5, possible 1:6
- Travelers float within scope to MS/Tele, PCU, lower-acuity settings, and ED
- Hospital may call off 3 times during a 13-week assignment
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- ED - Emergency Department experience
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers accepted
- No locals within 100 miles
- No on-call requirement
- COVID vaccination is optional
- No RQI certifications accepted
- New contracts and extensions must be at least 10 weeks
- Cerner familiarity may be used to test out of orientation training
- Cerner training attestation is required for all RNs starting with the 8/4/25 orientation group
