ICU Float

Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in San Francisco, California.
• 13-week assignment.
• ICU Float position.
• 3 x 12-hour day/night rotation as needed.
• Weekend rotation required.
• No on-call.
• Float required as needed.
• True full float across CPMC Van Ness, CPMC Mission Bernal, and CPMC Davies.
• Travelers are typically notified 2 hours before start time where to report.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
• Critical Care Float (4 years of experience)
• Critical Care Float experience within the last year

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred for RN positions.

Additional Notes

• ICU and MS/Tele RNs working at CPMC locations are required to take an EKG exam onsite after start.
• Unit-specific skills checklist required.
• Full 7 years of work history must be included in the application with city and state for each location, with no gaps.
