Role Summary

• Perform a complete range of CT exams.
• May act as lead and assist with training and mentoring other staff.
• Patient age group: Adolescents to Geriatrics.

Schedule

• Evening or night shifts; shift times vary.
• Every other weekend required.
• 13-week contract.
• No RTO for the first two weeks of the assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in California
• CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• ARRT
• ARRT Advanced Cert.
• Experience in a(n) Outpatient setting
• Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
• Experience in a(n) Emergency Department setting
• Experience in a(n) Teaching Hospital setting
• Experience with Siemens imaging equipment
• IV insertion skills
• Experience with IV contrast injection
• Experience with PACS
• Experience with cardiac-related radiology procedures
• CT abdomen procedures

• Department includes Code Stroke, CTA, Abdomen, Pelvis, Chest, Heart, CT Biopsy, Spine, chest tube placement, Extremities, and Facial bones.
• General skills listed: Outpatient/Inpatient, ER, Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital, Community Hospital, Children's Hospital, Adult ICU, IV starts, PACS, contrast, biopsies.
• CT procedure experience listed: Abdomen; Head/Neck; Chest; Spine; Musculoskeletal; Aspirations/Biopsies; Brain perfusion; Colonography; CT arthrography; Drainage; Myelography; Radiation therapy planning; Transplant studies; CTAs; Multiplanar Reconstruction.
