• Travel/Contract role in Lees Summit, Missouri
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45–19:15
• 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• Experience in a Hospital setting
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed
• Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period, with a combination of F/S/S
• No more than 7 days of RTO
• No pending license accepted

Clinical Areas / Skills

• MS/Tele, Telemetry Oncology, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, ER Holding, Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring on the unit, and use of Rapid Response Teams
• Cardiovascular care including post cardiac angiogram, post MI, and pre/post cardiac cath
• Feeding tube care and management
• Pre/post hemodialysis management and renal failure
• Blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, and starting IVs
• Heparin protocols, cardiac drips without titration, vasoactive drips without titration, and PCA
• CVA
• Surgical drains
• Chest tubes, external CPAP/BIPAP, HFNC, ABGs, nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, non-invasive airway management, and tracheostomy management
• Isolation precautions
• Wound care/Wound Vac

Additional Notes

• Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments as needed per unit
• On-call not required
• Block schedule not available
• Local candidates not accepted; home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
• Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks, with cancelled shifts matching the regular shift length assigned to the contractor
