Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• Ability to read cardiac rhythms and pass hospital proctored test requiring >80% accuracy in rhythm identification and 100% accuracy in identifying critical rhythms
• Experience managing IV cardiac medications and continuous infusions
• Familiarity with stroke care and management
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Experience

• Critical drip experience
• CVA experience
• Experience managing IV cardiac medications and continuous infusions
• Familiarity with stroke care and management

Work Setting

• Tele Float Pool
• Telemetry unit

Local Eligibility

• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius from Saratoga
• Candidates from the following counties are not eligible: Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Albany, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster

Housing

• Housing resources may be available; housing in Saratoga is expensive in the fall and should be reviewed before signing, with any housing arranged at additional cost
