Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Albuquerque, New Mexico
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 or 48 hour option
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Unit accepts first-time travelers
- Locals are not accepted within a 50-mile radius
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Drivers License/State ID
- State license verification required
- NURSYS verification required for RN
- Education verification
- 7-year background check
- 7-year work history verification
- Complete application/resume
- Unit-specific skills checklist
- Color blind testing
- Competency exam
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Fit test within 1 year of start
- Negative TB or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years of start
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- Fingerprinting onsite during orientation for New Mexico placements
- Photo for badge
- Fingerprint consent form signed prior to start
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience preferred
Additional Notes
- EPIC training may be completed pending fingerprint clearance, but the traveler cannot work on the unit until clearance is received
