- Night shift, 3 shifts per week
- 12 hours per shift (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Total 36 hours per week
Job Description
- Float position covering multiple units including:
- Subacute Rehab (Hall 1)
- Long-Term Care/Memory Care (Hall 2)
- Pulmonary Care (Burk 1)
- Ventilator Unit (Burk 2)
- Household Units (Long-Term Care)
- Responsibilities include providing care for patients with a variety of needs such as post-operative, stroke, cardiac rehab, wound care, dementia, chronic respiratory illnesses, and ventilator support.
- Staff must be able to recognize individual patient preferences and routines, especially in dementia care units.
- Requires strong organizational and leadership skills for managing complex respiratory and ventilator patients.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN/LVN license in Maryland
- Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care experience within the last year
- Experience in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
