Overview

• Location: Omaha, Nebraska
• Setting: Medical-surgical / telemetry and progressive care unit for adult transplant and intestinal rehabilitation patients
• Employment type: Travel/contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• Hours per week: 36
• Floating: Travelers are first to float and must be prepared to float frequently within scope to meet facility needs

Required Qualifications

• Active BLS and ACLS
• 2 years of prior experience in a large, urban hospital
• EPIC charting experience
• First-time travelers are not accepted unless the traveler has 2 years of experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center
• Must be able to float within scope as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• NIH
• CPI

Schedule / Work Expectations

• Ratios are 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights; night ratios may rarely be 1:7
• Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period
• Holiday requirement: 2 of 3 major holidays

Additional Notes

• Locals are not accepted; candidate must live more than 100 miles from the facility
• Pending license is accepted; if the license is not in hand at submission, the traveler will be booked six weeks out
• Scrubs are mandatory and must be Steele gray with the facility logo
• Nicotine-free facility
