- Floating may occur to MS, Stepdown, PCU, ER, or CVICU, with a maximum of 4 patients while floating.
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico.
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1.5 years of experience).
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Compliance / Onboarding Requirements
- Drivers license or state ID required.
- E-Verify required.
- Background check required.
- Education verification required.
- Fingerprinting required onsite during orientation for New Mexico placements.
- State license verification required.
- NURSYS verification required.
- Physical exam within 12 months of start.
- Fit test within 1 year of start.
- Tdap vaccination within 10 years of start.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start.
- Drug screen within 90 days of start.
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season.
- Unit-specific skills checklist required annually.
- Work history verification required for 7 years.
- Employment application or resume required.
