Job Description
- Must pass an advanced dysrhythmia (EKG) competency exam
- EPIC experience required
- Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required
- Skills include:
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Feeding tube care and management
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Kentucky
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a Home Health setting
- Proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Skilled in feeding tube care and management
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
Additional Information
- Driver’s license required if driving is a major job function
- Unit-specific skills checklist required and must be updated annually
- Performance evaluations completed by unit managers (not required prior to start)
- Badge photo required (headshot with solid light background)
Prior Travel Experience
