Position Summary

Seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with a strong procedural background in a fast-paced cath lab environment. This role requires hands-on experience with fluoroscopy and scrubbing during procedures.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Prior experience working in a Cath Lab setting is required
• First-time travelers accepted

Required Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT (R) or ARRT certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in California

Special Requirements

• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Strong procedural Cath Lab background mandatory
• Scrubs will be provided

Background & Compliance Requirements

• Comprehensive background check covering the last 7 years, including Social Security address check (last 15 years), national criminal search, sex offender search, education verification, and international searches if applicable
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days prior to start
• State-specific Medi-Cal exclusion search required within 30 days prior to start
• Drug screen: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start; annual renewal required for travel and per diem staff
• Physical exam within 12 months of start, cleared to work without restrictions
• Fit mask test required (3M Aura 1870+ N95 mask, universal size)
• Immunization and health document requirements including Tdap, TB testing, measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B and C, varicella, flu vaccination or declination, and COVID-19 vaccination declination form if applicable

Facility-Specific Requirements

• Must complete and sign various facility-specific documents prior to start, including orientation packet acknowledgment, fingernail hygiene policy, timekeeping acknowledgment, privacy and security information, parking regulations, and others
• Completion of assigned training modules through the facility’s learning management system with a passing score above 80%
• Photo for badge on a plain blue background required within 72 hours of signing
• References: Two professional references required, including one from the most recent experience
• Employment application must include a complete 15 years of work history with locations and any time off accounted for

• Locals are accepted for this position
• Pending licenses are not accepted; license must be active at time of submission
• Radiation badges for new candidates are not provided by the agency; candidates must obtain their own if required
• Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certifications may be required depending on unit assignment (check unit-specific requirements)

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in California
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ARRT (R) or ARRT certification
