Job Description
- Shift: Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Experience Required: Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. Must have 18 months permanent Med/Surg/Telemetry experience prior to travel.
- Licensure: Must have a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand.
- Certifications Required:
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification must be obtained prior to start.
- References: Two recent references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are required for submission.
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Additional Requirements
- Testing: ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation; acceptable scores required.
- Documentation:
- Government-issued photo ID required while on assignment.
- Various health documents including:
- Physical Exam
- Fit Mask certification
- Vaccination records (e.g., Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B)
- TB testing
- Drug screening
- Background check
- Education verification
- Competencies: Unit-specific competency exam required within 12 months of start, updated annually.
- Onboarding: Completion of online training modules prior to start.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum of 1.5 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
