Nuclear Medicine Technologist / CT Tech

Overview

Location: La Mesa, California
Employment type: Travel allied clinical role
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 8-hour day shifts
Hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule

On-call required with a 45-minute response time
Every other weekend
Variable weekday shifts: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, or 8:30 AM–5:30 PM

Required Qualifications

Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in California
Nuclear Medicine Technologist (2 years of experience)
Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
CTNM or CNMT
ARRT (CT)
ARRT (N)
CT Technologist experience

Role Highlights

Provides individualized patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Collaborates in complex or high-risk clinical situations
Advocates for patients and families to support quality care outcomes

On-call Details

If a nuclear medicine dose is needed, the technologist may need to call the pharmacy from home and notify the ordering provider of the delay until the dose arrives
