Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

• Lewes, Delaware

Assignment Details

• Travel assignment length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days
• Hours per day: 10 hours
• Hours per week: 40 hours
• Possible floating to SDS or PAT units
• Call shifts: Approximately 4-5 call shifts per 4-week period, including weekends and holidays

Unit Information

• Facility size: 210 beds
• PACU unit beds: 12
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1 RN to 2 patients
• Patient types: Orthopedic, Gynecological, Pediatric, Vascular, ENT, C-section, GI, General surgery recovery
• Typical charting systems: Cerner/SurgiNet
• Medication system: RX Station
• Required skills/equipment: Arterial lines (Alines), ventilator management

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent critical care experience, specifically in PACU
• Delaware RN license or compact license
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

• Shift pattern may include 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts; typical schedule is 5 days per week, may include weekends
