Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

12-hour nights
Every other weekend required
36 hours per week

Unit Details

MedSurg Inpatient Rehab | RN
15 beds total: 13 single rooms and 1 double room
Typical patient ratio: 5 patients
No tele on the unit

Required Qualifications

BLS certification
RN license
Non-Oregon licensed RNs may be eligible for a 90-day temporary license if their permanent license is not posted before the assignment start

Preferred Qualifications

MedSurg experience
Inpatient Rehab Nursing experience

Clinical Focus

Inpatient Rehabilitation Services
Patients recovering from surgeries, strokes, and multi-trauma

Responsibilities

May need to titrate drips occasionally
Charge RN may take a modified assignment of 2-3 patients, and may take a full assignment if needed
May float to the inpatient setting if overstaffed

Additional Notes

Local candidates are not accepted within a 50-mile radius
12 hours of non-billable orientation in the first work week
Weekend coverage is required
Holiday coverage is required
No call or standby requirement
Any color of professional scrubs is allowed
Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving of 50+ lbs during each 12-hour shift
