Overview

13-week contract in Albany, Georgia
Unit: Respiratory
Work settings include ICU and ER
12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
Weekend team schedule; hours may shift between M-Th or F-Sun team coverage
No call
Floating: n/a

Required Qualifications

Georgia RT license
BLS
ACLS
PALS
RRT
Critical care experience
Minimum 2 years of experience
1 prior travel contract
Experience with intubating patients
Able to work adult ICU and vents
Comfortable with high-volume workloads
300+ beds experience

Preferred Qualifications

CRT via NBRC
NRP if going to NICU

Clinical Responsibilities

Perform RT duties including nebs, airway management, vapotherm, bipap, cpap, vents, ABG collection, bedside pfts, and CPT
In ICU, place A lines, manage blood gases, intubate, and do bronchs
Work with adult patients, including peds to adults
Use Servo vents (U and I models)

Additional Details

Charge RT role is present
In-house hospitalist or intensivist coverage is available 24/7
Pharmacy is available 24/7
EMR: Meditech
