Employment Type: Travel Contract

- Unit: Pediatric Emergency Department
- Number of Beds: 15
- Staffing: 1 Respiratory Therapist assigned to the Pediatric ED
- Shift: Day shift for Pediatric Respiratory Therapist
- Patient Ratio: 1 Therapist per Pediatric ED
- Equipment: Respiratory equipment
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech
- On Call Requirement: No
- Floating Requirement: Yes, may float to other pediatric areas
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC, NRP, PALS
- Completion of HCA Employee Health and Safety Acknowledgement Forms
Preferred Skills
- Experience in critical care and pediatric respiratory therapy is highly preferred.

- Bronchiolitis scoring
- Management of respiratory arrest
- Noninvasive ventilation
- Invasive ventilation
