Unit Overview

• Unit: Endoscopy
• Number of Beds: 2 endoscopy suites
• Patient Ratios:

  • Circulator 1:1
  • PACU up to 2 patients
  • Preop 1:1 during questioning, may be up to 1:3 if waiting
• Staffing: 1 Circulator and 1 tech in the room; scope washer designated per shift
• Equipment: Olympus scopes, OER elite washer, ION robot
• Documentation Systems: Meditech Expanse and Provation
• Scheduling: Monday-Friday, 6 AM to 3 PM (based on assignment)
• Floating Policy: May float to ASC and other surrounding facilities as needed

• ION robotic bronchoscopy
• Bronchoscopy

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
• Minimum 2 years of endoscopy experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Schedule offers consistent weekday shifts with potential floating opportunities within related units
