Location: Richmond, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Overview
- Unit: Endoscopy
- Number of Beds: 2 endoscopy suites
- Patient Ratios:
- Circulator 1:1
- PACU up to 2 patients
- Preop 1:1 during questioning, may be up to 1:3 if waiting
- Staffing: 1 Circulator and 1 tech in the room; scope washer designated per shift
- Equipment: Olympus scopes, OER elite washer, ION robot
- Documentation Systems: Meditech Expanse and Provation
- Scheduling: Monday-Friday, 6 AM to 3 PM (based on assignment)
- Floating Policy: May float to ASC and other surrounding facilities as needed

- Bravos
- ERCP
- EUS
- EBUS
- ION robotic bronchoscopy
- Bronchoscopy
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
- Minimum 2 years of endoscopy experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

- Unit conducts a daily huddle prior to the start of the day
- Candidates should be prepared to work with advanced endoscopy technology and equipment
- Schedule offers consistent weekday shifts with potential floating opportunities within related units
This position is ideal for experienced RNs with advanced endoscopy skills seeking a travel assignment in a well-equipped unit with a supportive staffing model.
