Job Description

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a Level II trauma center with a comprehensive range of services including women's services, sports medicine, neurological care, cardiovascular services, and a dedicated children's hospital with a Level III NICU. The facility is recognized nationally for quality care and offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth.

Unit Information

Number of Staff: 9
Day Shift Staffing Example: 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
Equipment: GE MRI machines
EMR System: Cerner
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 10:30 PM
- Saturday to Sunday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekend Schedule: Rotating weekends
Dress Code: Black scrubs

Typical Procedures

MRI with contrast and non-contrast
Breast MRI experience preferred

Required Qualifications

Valid MRI Technologist license in North Carolina
ARRT (MR) Certification
BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist, including experience within the last year

Additional Notes

Candidates must be MRI registered to be considered
Preferred candidates have breast MRI experience
Floating assignments may be required
