Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Atlantis, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Unit Information

Unit: Cardiovascular Services - Cath Lab / EP Lab
Number of Beds: 3 cath rooms and 4 EP rooms
Shift Schedule: Day shift only, 4 x 10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:1
Equipment: Cath/EP Lab equipment
Documentation System: MacLab
Call Requirements: 1 weekend per month plus 7 weekdays (Cath only)

Typical Procedures

Cardiac Catheterization (diagnostic and PCI)
Watchman/LAAO procedures
Electrophysiology studies and Ablation
Device Implants

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- ARRT or RCIS certification
- RTR License
- Cath Lab Tech Certification

Additional Preferences

Proficiency in Cath/EP procedures
Ability to function well independently and adapt to a fast-paced unit

Dress Code

Surgical scrubs provided (scrub color specified)
