Travel RN Opportunity – ICU

Location: Sanford, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility & Unit Overview

Unit: ICU (8 beds)
Patient Ratios: 1:2-3
Patient Population: All ages
EHR System: Cerner
Shift: Days (7 PM – 7 AM)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: As needed / every other weekend
Call Requirements: As needed
Float Requirements: Yes (Ratio 1:6)

Required Qualifications

Specialty: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Required Years of Experience: 2 years (higher end of 1-2 years range)
Required Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- CPI/HWC/MAB
- NIH Certification
Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse License in North Carolina
Must have ICU experience
Preferred: Experience with high acuity patients
Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Respiratory Failure

Additional Information

Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
Dress Code: Scrubs of any color allowed; no casual wear
Patient Care Ratio: 1 nurse to 2-3 patients
